Endangered the fragile truce between Hamas and Israel

Attacks from Gaza and Israeli replica left three Palestinians dead on Wednesday.

Less than a week initiated the latest escalation of violence between Israel and Palestinian militant groups in Gaza, it seems that the ceasefire declared last Sunday never happened.

In fact, even when allegedly entered into force, continued attacks and responses.

But yesterday there was an apparent increase in tension, and the population in the area said: “It’s over now certain that nothing remains of the ceasefire.”

A key point was the operation in which Israel killed Ismail Asmar Zadi (36 years), member of Islamic Jihad in Rafah, security sources said that Israel “was involved in smuggling weapons and was preparing terrorist activity in the Sinai “.

The sources added that Asmar “was acting with terrorists in the Gaza Strip who recently made several attempts to carry out attacks in Sinai, in the Israeli-Egyptian border.”

Israel blamed the target of their attack to have participated in organizing the attack last Thursday in which a cell infiltrated Gaza to Sinai opened fire from the Israeli-Egyptian border at Israeli cars, killing six civilians and two members of security.

Immediately after the attack Asmar, further intensified the pace of firing rockets from Gaza, and nearly a dozen of them landed up at night, in the vicinity of Ofakim and Ashkelon as the capital of southern Israel, Beer Sheba.

The night shots were claimed in a joint statement issued in Gaza by groups that do not take the truce, Ali Mustafa Brigades (the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and Al Naser Brigades, the group of Abu Yusef Elqouqa, dissident Popular Resistance Committees (PRC).

In response, two other Palestinians were killed by at least two Israeli attacks in Gaza, according to several medical sources, Palestinians and Israelis. One was Atya Moqat, 20, who also belonged to Islamic Jihad.
