Another Candidate for Hamilton County Mayor Revealed

The Hamilton County Commission office revealed today it mistakenly left one name off the list of candidates for Hamilton County Mayor.

Chester Clark submitted his hand written letter of intent on December 16, one day prior to the deadline.

The 65-year-old Clark says he has lived in Hamilton County for 29 years.

Clark joins Commissioner Jim Coppinger, Register of Deeds Pam Hurst, Mike Carter, Denise Russell-Ford, Guy Satterfield, Edward Ector, Jr., Richard Rankin, and Harry “Buddy” Rogers in seeking to replace Claude Ramsey.

The Commission will determine on December 27 who will serve until the August 2012 election.

Ramsey leaves office January 11 to become Chief of Staff for Governor-elect Bill Haslam.
