Adam Joseph “Edge” Copeland decided to retire from the WWE

WWE fans would know this one wrestler, Edge. Well, it seems we can no longer watch his action in the ring, because Edge decided to retire. Yup, yesterday, Edge on the WWE RAW show has announced his retirement from the sport that has raised his name is. The wrestler who his real name is Adam Joseph Copeland retired after 19 year career in WWE.

Edge was forced to retire due to a broken neck that happened since 2003. Since then, he felt he had lost his desire to play wrestling. Though the WWE has ordered the Edge to conduct further examination, but the verdict of the doctor actually said that Edge had to retire.

When announced his retirement, Edge got applause from the audience; they all shouted “Thank You Edge.” In the event, Edge also thanked his friend, the Christian who had accompanied him and became his best friend for 27 years. Edge also said that he regretted having to retire in a way that he did not expect. Although, still holds the pension Edge as World Heavyweight Champion title.

Career Edge as a wrestler is long. In his debut he was known as a silence wrestler, until then joined a silly team called The Brood together with Christian and Gangrel. Until eventually became the most hated superstar by the fans in the WWE. When out of the ring, Edge thanked the fans and got a standing ovation from the audience. Behind the stage, Edge farewell to all the WWE superstars and divas. Goodbye Edge, we’ll miss your action in the ring in WWE.
